We travelled overnight to avoid the heat but unfortunately greeted with rain on arrival. We received a most hospitable welcome and the organisers could not do enough to make everyone feel welcome. Timberland started the proceedings with some good work in the Prix St Georges but a little tense at times finishing in 5th place. All tension evaporated in the Inter I Kur to produce a solid test and 3rd place. O’Neill was also a little tense in the Grand Prix but pulled out a good test in the Grand Prix Special finishing in 3rd place behind Alexandra Simons de Ridder and Holga Finken.
